Playoff Rules (Updated March 1, 2018)

General Rules

Teams cannot play each other two series in a row. They will be re-seeded and matchups adjusted.

There is no OT in Game 1 of series. There can be a tie in this game.
If game 1 is a tie – winner of game 2 wins series.
If game 1 is a tie – and Game 2 end of regulation is a tie – Sudden Death OT (See OT rules below)
If team X wins game 1 – they need a win or a tie in game 2 to win series.
If team X wins Game 1, and team Y wins Game 2 – Sudden Death OT
Rules for Sudden Death OT
- (3 on 3) – 5:00 minutes
- For each subsequent minute played buzzer will go and one player will be reduced until you get to 1 on 1. There must be a winner.

Round Robin in one night
Each team will play two games (9,10 or 10,11 or 9,11)
Each game must have a winner

Winner of TB cup gets the 4th seed and back into the playoffs
Tie Break Rules = GF / GF + GA – Number closest to 1 wins
