The Hard Way

Winning the Cup is not an easy thing to do, over the first 28 seasons only 7 players have been able to do so.   There are some seasons where the winner seemed to have an easy time of it ... that is usually due to outstanding play and a little luck where your opponent wasnt at the top of their game.   But for 1 player ... it took almost 24 years ... it took a 5th final appearance ... it took overcoming 0-3 start in a best of 11 Mini-Playoff set ...  it took overcoming an 0-3 & 2-5 start in the Quarter Finals ... it took a lucky miss of a single 15 by his opponent in the SF to win the series ... it took overcoming a 3-6 deficit and 3 misses at a double by his opponent in the final game of a 10-9 Finals to win the Cup.

We talk about how 1 trip can turn a series around regardless of what the series score is ...  but Marco proved that sentence correct multiple times ...  Marco Desousa playing in his 1,141st game hit the double 1 to claim the Cloon Cup ... there may never be a more deserving winner ...
